This website is hosted by Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA. When you visit the website, Vercel processes technically necessary data (in particular your IP address, date and time of access, pages accessed and browser type) in order to deliver the website securely and reliably. Processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in stable, secure operation). A data processing agreement including the EU standard contractual clauses is in place with Vercel.

When you visit this website, information transmitted by your browser is automatically stored in server log files. This data cannot be attributed to specific individuals and is not merged with other data sources. It serves solely to ensure trouble-free operation.

On your first visit, a notice at the bottom of the page asks whether you allow cookies and similar technologies for analytics and marketing. We store your choice in your browser's local storage (entry “apb-consent”) so the notice does not reappear on every visit. We use Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (“Google”). Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to evaluate how our website is used, for example which pages are viewed for how long and from which region visits come. According to Google, IP addresses are only processed in truncated form and are not stored.

The Google tag is integrated in what is known as consent mode. Until you have given consent, no cookies are set and no identifiers are stored; Google only receives cookieless signals without a user identifier (for example that a page view took place without consent), which are used for aggregated modelling. Your IP address is technically transmitted to Google in the process. The full analytics data is only collected after you have given consent. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR, Section 25 (1) TDDDG); for the cookieless signals we rely on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in reach measurement without user profiles).

The data collected may be transferred to servers of Google LLC in the USA. Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework; the EU Commission's standard contractual clauses apply in addition. User- and event-level data is deleted by Google Analytics after two months.

Our website embeds videos via YouTube in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. When the video is played, your browser connects to Google servers and your IP address is transmitted. According to YouTube, privacy-enhanced mode ensures that no visitor information is stored before the video is watched. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in an appealing presentation of our services).

You have the right at any time to obtain information about your stored personal data, its origin and recipients, and the purpose of the data processing (Art. 15 GDPR). You also have the right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR), data portability (Art. 20 GDPR) and to object to processing (Art. 21 GDPR).

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of the Free Hanseatic City of Bremen.
